Tirza DerflingerCertified Clinical Thermographic Technician The Thermogram Center Inc.
Tirza Derflinger established The Thermogram Center in 2002. She became board certified in 2003 as a thermographic technician after attending 36 classroom hours covering physics, thermal imaging system requirements, anatomy, as well as client paperwork and laboratory protocols. She passed her board exam through the International Academy of Clinical Thermology; obtaining 100 thermal imaging studies; submitting 10 thermal imaging studies for evaluation by the board; and attaining 6 months experience. She is also a member of the American Academy of Thermology.
Previously she served as Medical Laboratory Technician in the Army, obtained a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, and an M.B.A. in the Management of Technology.
After working professionally for more than 15 years, she had become dissatisfied with corporate work. It had become too impersonal and was no longer soulfully gratifying. At age 38, Tirza left a six-figure income to return to her true calling: helping people in a health field. She founded the Thermogram Center, an S-Corp, and remains the only officer/individual in this business entity.
In 2005, she responded to the overwhelming question from clients, “what can I do about the potential risk factors observed in my thermal imaging?” She did this by founding the Breast Health Education Group, made up of seven authors of “Better Breast Health – for Life!™”. Today, Tirza serves as a Breast Health Educator & Facilitator by providing education to clients and through workshops and lectures in the workplace, organizations, and the community.
In her fourteenth year with The Thermogram Center, she serves as its President and as a business manager, and has provided thermal imaging services for thousands of men and women from 44 states and 9 countries.
